United For A Better Future
Greener Energy Fair - 18th Jan 2025
The GEF is based on the Green Living Fair format but heavily biased towards renewable energy for home owners. As well as the many trade suppliers there will be a range of interesting 'green-tables' including advice on home energy related grants.

There will also be 'pop-up talks' which will be about 5 minutes on energy related topics. These are intended to stimulate interest in a wide range of energy related issues and hopefully spark some ideas on managing energy generally.
Talks:

10:30am - Why moving to green energy is the best investment you will ever make! Geo Meadows
11:00am - Is it worth future-proofing your home against unforeseen energy shocks? How would you do it anyway? - Kirsty Shanahan
11:30am - A Tale of Two Cities - experiences doing energy retrofits on two terraced houses, one in Nottingham the other in Birmingham - Nigel Lloyd
12:00pm - How a bike could change your life - save you a fortune and keep you healthy! - Clive Wood
